PUNTA CANA, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC

Punta Cana was always on the top of my list of destinations to visit. Since I was little, I have read articles on the extraordinary beauty of Dominican beaches. Now I can tell my friends that Punta Cana is even better than it seems on the internet. It's a beautiful tropical paradise and a delightful destination.

Every single trip needs a good partner, and I definitely had the best company to enjoy the experience with - my friend and photographer Yassell Chapman (she hates appearing in pics). I´m very excited about sharing this journey on my blog with you guys!

Punta Cana siempre estuvo encabezando mi lista de destinos. Desde muy pequeña, leí artículos sobre la belleza imponente de las playas dominicanas y me enamoré. Ahora cuento a mis amigos que Punta Cana es tan bello como se ve en internet: un paraíso tropical. En este viaje me acompañó mi amiga y fotógrafa Yassell Chapman ( quien odia salir en fotos) pero para todo viaje es importante buena compañía. Estoy feliz de saber que puedo compartir parte del viaje en este primer post.

The hurricane left some damaged palm trees. However, Punta Cana was still beautiful, and the resort exceeded our expectations.

Aun con palmeras deterioradas por los huracanes, Punta Cana merece ser observada. No has entrado al lobby del hotel cuando ya sientes ganas de quedarte en este lugar. No estoy exagerando, tienes que ir y comprobarlo.

When booking, you can choose between adult only and family hotels. This choice ensures you the perfect environment for your trip. The Catalonia Royal Bavaro Hotel and Resort is exclusive for adults. It gave us the impression of being alone on the beach. It really was a peaceful place.

Al reservar, puedes elegir entre hoteles exclusivos para adultos y hoteles familiares. Esto garantiza seleccionar bien el ambiente que deseas. El Royal Bavaro, es exclusivo para adultos, tuvimos la impresión de estar solas en la playa y si que disfrutamos esa paz.

BEACH PLEASE!

God bless the person who invented bar service on the beach. Here I am, sitting on the beach —cocktail in hand— staring out over the blue water, what a life! The service I received on the beach was also no less than superior.

Bendito el ser humano que invento los bares frente a la playa. Me toca sentarme y disfrutar. ¡Que dicha! ¿Quién no es feliz cuando hay sol, playa y cocteles cerca?

Beach more, worry less...

Take a look at the crystal clear water. It is the number one allure for visitors, and when mixed with its bright sandy bottom, it shows some simply amazing shadows.

Vayamos al agua cristalina, que vuelve locos a los visitantes cuando se mezcla con ese fondo de arena brillante: da lugar a unas tonalidades sencillamente alucinantes. 

Although the distance from your room to the beach is always short, I found my favorite way to get around was the bicycle! This medium allowed me to get a broad view of all areas, day and night. Now that I think about it, I'm not sure if I spent more time walking or on the bike.

Aunque la distancia de tu habitación a la playa siempre es corta, encontré mi elemento favorito: ¡La bicicleta! Que me permitió dar un paseo en todas las áreas, de día y de noche, ahora que lo pienso bien, no sé si pasé más tiempo en el suelo o la bicicleta.

This experience has been one of the best trips of my life. I hope you have the opportunity to enjoy Punta Cana as much as I did. I loved being in this amazing, breathtaking place and was always in the best hands! Thanks again to @Etc for such excellent service.
